Zippo« Kids-Goggle

These are an attractive set of goggles, having a red and white design with a splash of pink stars at the outer edge. The outer shell is a more rigid, but still comfortable plastic, with a softer, rubbery type material surrounding the eyes where they touch the skin..The reverse is a one piece soft plastic strap that very comfortable. The goggles themselves are a one piece construction so there’s no weak spot over the bridge of nose, but as the plastic is very flexible and softish its very comfortable and doesn’t rub. The lenses are subtly dark tinted and allow for a very clear vision. I was amazed at how far goggles have come from the hard uncomfortable ones of a few years back.
My 14 year old granddaughter was my tester for these. The grandkids all love to swim but hate the effect the chlorine has on their eyes. Beth tried them for comfort, easy of adjustment and watertight fit. She found the straps easy to adjust with the fittings being beside the lenses. the soft plastic round the skin of eyes mean that when they were removed there were no horrible red rings and uncomfortable skin. She tested them for water leaks and they fit snugly once properly adjusted. These would fit younger children and yet were also fine for her age comfort wise. She’s a bit of a tomboy and really liked the design and colour of these goggles, but wasn’t so keen on the stars, felt they were a little juvenile. Maybe these would suit younger swimmers better? They come in a rigid, clear plastic protective case, good for when they’re inevitably slung in a swim bag and thrown around car/coach/train or sat on…..something most parents are all too familiar with! .
Stars: Five.

About jeanniezelos

I'm an avid reader, love my kindle and I have my head in a novel for hours daily : ) Mum used to say I'd read toilet paper if it was printed- it wasn't, so i had to contend myself with the back and sides of the cereal packets. I've always Needed to read and we had few books when i was a child hence my penchant for reading anything including adverts then... I review mainly contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance books though dystopian and urban fantasy also appeal. I'm currently rated around the 300 mark on for my reviews. I try to keep them structured and to say what I do and don't like about a book so other readers can use my review as a guide to whether they may enjoy the book.
