JollyGear Lacrosse Massage Balls for Self Myofascial Release and Deep Tissue Trigger Point Therapy

JollyGear Lacrosse Massage Balls for Self Myofascial Release and Deep Tissue Trigger Point Therapy
I’d never seen these before so looked up on web how to use other than just the obvious ways with hands and feet.they can be used on oneself or on others and I imagine a back massage with one or both of these would be very beneficial for tight muscles etc. I’ve had a swollen foot recently ( I’m a wheelchair user with only one leg so it happens) and I’ve got one of these tucked under my PC desk and each morning I simply roll it round with my foot while I’m writing/reading/browsing. Its simple and has really helped my foot. I’ve arthritis in my hands and hadn’t thought of using them there but that’s next on my list to try, ball in one hand kindle in the other. Multitasking ;- )
There are two provided, they’re quite heavy and of a solid, dense rubber type construction that has a bit of “give” in it – the grandkids had great fun bouncing them round, they really sprung up and away from my hard kitchen floor, though spoilsport Nanny had to put a halt to it in order to protect the kitchen from damage….the dogs were quite keen to use them too! Fortunately  they come with handy drawstring fabric bag so can be hung out of the way of enthusiastic dogs and kids!

The clip below is taken from a useful site
Self-myofascial release is a fancy term for self-massage to release muscle tightness or trigger points. This method can be performed with a foam roller, lacrosse ball, Theracane, or your own hands. By applying pressure to specific points on your body you are able to aid in the recovery of muscles and assist in returning them to normal function. Normal function means your muscles are elastic, healthy, and ready to perform at a moment’s notice.

Stars: Five, great for aching muscles and self help.

About jeanniezelos

I'm an avid reader, love my kindle and I have my head in a novel for hours daily : ) Mum used to say I'd read toilet paper if it was printed- it wasn't, so i had to contend myself with the back and sides of the cereal packets. I've always Needed to read and we had few books when i was a child hence my penchant for reading anything including adverts then... I review mainly contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance books though dystopian and urban fantasy also appeal. I'm currently rated around the 300 mark on for my reviews. I try to keep them structured and to say what I do and don't like about a book so other readers can use my review as a guide to whether they may enjoy the book.
