Lumi’Essence Body Organic Advanced Brightening Repair Treatment with Kojic Acid, Arbutin & Vitamin C, 60ml

Review from Jeannie’s Product Reviews

I’ve been given a few products from this company for review. They arrived well packaged, and undamaged.

What’s important to me is what we put on our skin, and how we treat the environment. We’ve only one planet so lets look after it. This company does that in the ingredients it uses, though I would like to seen info about the packaging, whether it’s made from recycled plastics – that’s a bonus if so but the label doesn’t say.

This cream comes in a pump dispenser, no jars to dip into potentially leaving germs behind, and that’s something I always like to see. Its a thickish white cream and is easily absorbed into skin. Its expensive but you need very little. Its got a pleasant floral smell, though not strong enough to clash with any perfume. I’ve sensitive skin but have had no issues in using this, and it leaves my skin feeling pleasantly moisturised, not tight and angry as some creams do.

I’ve an uneven skin tone on my face and some odd dark brown patches have developed this year on my wrists so I’m hoping this will help – currently its just looks grubby…not a great impression to give anyone! I’ve only been using it a few days so I’ll update after a period of time has given it a chance to work.

I love the company’s ethos, this extract is from their website: Our products are Organic and natural treatments that look great, feel great and smell great, and therefore make you feel good.  We’ve combined the best gifts of earth and ocean in our skin care. Aromatherapy elements nourish your body and soul. And most importantly our products are safe for mum and baby and  everyone who seeks the healthiest alternatives for every day skin challenges. Did you know that everything that is applied on our skin, the largest organ, ultimately ends up in your bloodstream?

About jeanniezelos

I'm an avid reader, love my kindle and I have my head in a novel for hours daily : ) Mum used to say I'd read toilet paper if it was printed- it wasn't, so i had to contend myself with the back and sides of the cereal packets. I've always Needed to read and we had few books when i was a child hence my penchant for reading anything including adverts then... I review mainly contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance books though dystopian and urban fantasy also appeal. I'm currently rated around the 300 mark on amazon.co.uk for my reviews. I try to keep them structured and to say what I do and don't like about a book so other readers can use my review as a guide to whether they may enjoy the book.
