Weather station

Review from Jeannie’s Product Reviews

Him Indoors is a weather addict. Its a family joke that dad watches the weather forecast more than TV programmes so this was perfect for him. We had one many years ago which was similar but as things do it eventually gave up.

This is so easy to put together, even I could do it but you do need 4 AA batteriesand of course I didn’t have enough, so check and order them at the same time! When you’ve the outside unit open to add batteries ensure the channel 1-2-3 matches whatever you’ve set on the main box ( it should be 1 if you’ve only one unit), and then once that’s outside the main unit indoors will tell you outside temperature and humidity. The inside unit also displays time and date, inside temp and humidity, and has sun, rain, cloud symbols for what weather coming. It even shows moon phases which is fun, and actually useful if you’re interested in growing/planting according to moon phase. There’s a school of thought that says certain moon times are better for growth than others, something I always intend to find out more about but forget…you know how it is…too many things to do, too butterfly of a mind!

Its surprisingly accurate, I checked with another couple of temperature gauges we have, and its fascinating to see the humidity rise when its raining – up to 88% in a heavy shower a few days back.

Its easy to set up, though there are instructions to guide you through it. Its a fun gadget and for people like Him Indoors who love weather forecasts and gadgets its a perfect gift.

About jeanniezelos

I'm an avid reader, love my kindle and I have my head in a novel for hours daily : ) Mum used to say I'd read toilet paper if it was printed- it wasn't, so i had to contend myself with the back and sides of the cereal packets. I've always Needed to read and we had few books when i was a child hence my penchant for reading anything including adverts then... I review mainly contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance books though dystopian and urban fantasy also appeal. I'm currently rated around the 300 mark on for my reviews. I try to keep them structured and to say what I do and don't like about a book so other readers can use my review as a guide to whether they may enjoy the book.
