Elegant Stainless Steel Salt and Pepper Grinder Set – Twinzee Salt & Pepper Mill Pair with Adjustable Coarseness and Stunning Glass Body – Brushed Stainless Steel Salt and Pepper Shakers

This set comes in a white card display box, so makes for a great gift. visually it’s very attractive, with a large glass base and brushed steel lid.

I like that there’s a cover for the lid, easy to remove but stops salt and pepper dropping over table/work surface if stored steel side down, and stops dust and grease if stored glass side down. Its easy to clean having a wide opening. The grind can be altered from rough to fine, helpful when cooking and you want a coarser pepper for rubs etc. Its a good size too, holds plenty of salt and pepper as the bowl is empty and the grinding mechanism contained in the steel compartment. Fits nicely into my hand, perfect size for using regularly. I’ve has some that are so tiny you’re always refilling, and others so large they are unwieldy and simply get in the way so end up stored and forgotten in back of some barely used cupboard.

These are perfect, visually attractive, comfortable to use,  unobtrusive but very functional. You could keep an extra set with perhaps a herb mix of whole leaves in one and a spice rub with whole spices in another – fresh ground herbs and spices taste so much fresher, particularly the spices. Its why we love pepper mills so much, the flavour of fresh ground pepper corns is incomparable to ready milled stuff that’s just like tasteless hot dust.

About jeanniezelos

I'm an avid reader, love my kindle and I have my head in a novel for hours daily : ) Mum used to say I'd read toilet paper if it was printed- it wasn't, so i had to contend myself with the back and sides of the cereal packets. I've always Needed to read and we had few books when i was a child hence my penchant for reading anything including adverts then... I review mainly contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance books though dystopian and urban fantasy also appeal. I'm currently rated around the 300 mark on amazon.co.uk for my reviews. I try to keep them structured and to say what I do and don't like about a book so other readers can use my review as a guide to whether they may enjoy the book.
