I’ve very long hair, 32 inches…so usually just leave it to dry naturally. Life is too short to spend hours on primping…but this was so quick and easy I’ll be happy to use it. heated products aren’t great for hair so I left my hair till almost dry then simply brushed out any tangles with my usual brush and then ran this through.

It comes in a plain cardboard box for protection and what I really liked, a small thing but one I’d not seen before, is that it has a velcro strip attached to the lead so it’s simple to coil up, wind velcro round and its all kept neat and safe. Sometimes its the tiny additions like that which make all the difference.

Its simple to use, plug in, set heat – and there’s a handy guide for what heat best for your hair type – and then use. It heats up incredibly quickly, just a couple of minutes so by the time I’d brushed out tangles it was ready. I used 190 setting as I don’t like too much heat and thought that was plenty. It’s easy to programme head, just use + and – buttons, then lock according to instructions to keep heat set at that temp. My hair is pretty straight but the ends tend to kink out, and there’s always little broken hairs along the length that stick out so I was hoping this would give me that sleek and shiny look.

Hair is actually scales when looked at under a magnifying glass and rubbing, backcombing, ect. all ruffle the scales and that’s why it doesn’t shine. Use a good conditioner, and a spray if wanted – I didn’t as I hadn’t any to hand – and then sliding the brush down the hair the warmth and the movement will encourage scales to lay flat and make hair shine. I was impressed at how quickly it worked, and how sleek and shiny my hair looked. the images show my hair before, just rough dried and brushed and after using the straightener.

I don’t know about the massager part, I’ve never heard of anion technology, and Google didn’t make it any clearer…. Seems to appear in many hair straighteners though.

About jeanniezelos

I'm an avid reader, love my kindle and I have my head in a novel for hours daily : ) Mum used to say I'd read toilet paper if it was printed- it wasn't, so i had to contend myself with the back and sides of the cereal packets. I've always Needed to read and we had few books when i was a child hence my penchant for reading anything including adverts then... I review mainly contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance books though dystopian and urban fantasy also appeal. I'm currently rated around the 300 mark on amazon.co.uk for my reviews. I try to keep them structured and to say what I do and don't like about a book so other readers can use my review as a guide to whether they may enjoy the book.
