Info re positive/negative reviews
I get asked to review lots of products and I’ve seen suggestions that this compromises integrity of reviews. Well, I take reviewing seriously – I rely on reviews when I’m buying and so want to extend that same help. Most products I’ve received have been excellent, but then I tend only to request things I’d like to use. Occasionally I’ve had issues and needed to contact suppliers – its inevitable that sometimes items get damaged in transit and then its how that’s dealt with that goes into my review, and I review replacement rather than the damaged item. I look at what I’d want to know – stitching and finish, how the product measures up to what it should be, how easy it is to use, if it looks as though it would damage easily – stuff like that. All requests get sent the same info as below where I make it very clear the review and stars depend on the product, not that its free/discounted.

I like to try a product several times before writing my review so it could take around two-three weeks from receipt of product and though I aim for ten days max certain items can take longer. I always add to my reviews Product supplied for review as per Amazon requirements.
