PU Leather Backpack, Red Nylon Backpack, Cowl neck black dress

Jothin X505 Urban Casual PU Leather Backpack with Waterproof Cute Vintage College Stylish and Travel Backbag School Student Book Bag for Men And Women Up to 14 Inches Laptop

This multi use bag comes in three colours and two different styles. I have the one with slanted front zip in grey.

Its in a PU leather, feels soft and water resistant which is useful in UK. If like me the term PU leather doesn’t mean anything its interesting to look it up – wiki has a good page. “PU leather, sometimes described as split leather) is a material made with a split leather backing covered with a layer of polyurethane”
Interesting, as I thought it was wholly man made ( seen an article recently about a leather-like fabric made from mushrooms – if the price is good I think we’ll see much more of it).

The main section is roomy, and has a lightly padded section for tablets, notebooks etc, there’s a second separate large section, and a smaller section. Each have robust zips with handy easy grip tags. Its also has a small, slanted pocket on the outside, for keeping things you want quickly, but if its worn as a backpack I’d not keep money, cards, keys etc there for security reasons. Its too easy to get “bumped” and lose them to pick pockets.

The straps are padded and adjustable so suitable for all sizes. There’s reinforced stitching on pressure points too which is useful.
Its a 20 ltr bag so a great school/college/uni back pack, and will hold everything the kids need for the day easily.
Its big enough to use as a casual weekend bag too, for when they stay over with friends.Teens don’t want suitcases, they stuff everything in a back pack like this, so its a perfect dual use bag.

KAUKKO 2 Ways of Carry New Nylon Bag Large Travel Backpack Outdoor Daypacks Fashion Handbag (Red)

Smart looking backpack, in three colours. We’ve the red one, a very clear vibrant colour that stands out. Needless to say it was five year old Brennan who insisted I select red, I’d have gone for the more classic black, or even the blue but he won. Could be worse, if there was a yellow option, that’s his long time favourite colour!

Anyway it feels pretty rugged and able to withstand being thrown around on school buses and trains, teens never “carry” bags, or actually put them down properly. its always slung over one shoulder and then thrown into approximately the right direction when they reach their destination….I used to tell my kids I was going to come into their homes when they were older, sling my bag and shoes across the floor, drop coat by the door and lounge sprawled over their sofa, dropping crumbs from snacks…
The description says made with Eco-friendly waterproof nylon + PU leather material, waterproof, durable, strong at resistance and that seems about right. as O said though we’ve got buckle straps, not magnetic ones as the description and some reviewers mention. I prefer them for safety, harder for pickpockets to undo, but of course harder for user too when its blowing a gale or pouring with rain! . Its a person choice – safety v convenience.

You can get quite a lot in this, its got a choice of lightly padded shoulder straps or a carry handle. That not got any padding, usually these straps are either padded or have a Velcro removable paddling section, and I suspect this would hurt hands after being carried for a while. The main section has a strong zip that opens over top and down sides, and there’s a roomy inside, with a flap to reinforce base. That could have been stiffer, I was puzzled at first what it was, thinking it was another pocket of some kind or something.
There’s a pouch, a couple of pockets for phone, pens etc and a zipped section in here, and the outer has the main buckle fastening pocket. Two pockets at the sides are great for drinks and brollies, making it a handy bag for school and college. I wouldn’t like to carry it all day on a hike though, the shoulder straps have light padding, but would ache after hours of use.

The warranty: I like there just a simple one, Exchange or return. Too often we see opt out clauses, returns limited to 30 days etc, repairs only done in first 3 months, and not only is that against UK law it also means to me the company don’t have confidence in their product.
Of course its a claim that needs testing but that its there means much to me.

Stars: Five, some things could be better, shoulder padding and hand straps but I LOVE that warranty, so good to see a company that believes in its product.

Women’s Elegant Bat Sleeve Slim Cowl Neck Elastic Bodycon Wrap Dress

Product Details

Smart black dress, though I wouldn’t call it “body con” – its a far softer, gentler fabric that the usual BC dresses. Some of those tend to hold you in with the vigour of an old fashioned corset ( mum used to have a “roll on” a rubber torture device that just squeezed all the excess flesh upwards and downwards….not a pretty look). Those are fine if breathing isn’t a priority, so give me a dress like this any day 🙂 Its not a “wrap” dress either but a simply shift type.
Its a soft fabric, 100% polyester, quite thin, and will wash and dry very quickly. You might want to wear a slip under it as it is so fine. Its got a long zip at back for ease of wearing, and thats neatly sewn and almost invisible.

I’ve the XL. size 12, though in UK XL is more usually far larger, 18+ but Asian sizing classes differently so watch out for that.
It does have some stretch but if its too small though it’ll stretch to fit it won’t look good. don’t do it!!
I like the styling, how the neck gently drapes, the sleeves have a flattering batwing effect hiding part of the real ones! It drapes nicely, is well finished and is a great dress for the price.
Its one of those dresses you can wear anytime, casual day out, for work or dress up with heeled shoes, stockings and some pretty jewellery for a night out.

Stars: Five, a classic styled dress at a great price. Just wish it came in bigger sizes.

Product supplied for honest review. All items undergo assessment and testing where needed before I give my opinion, and stars given accordingly.

About jeanniezelos

I'm an avid reader, love my kindle and I have my head in a novel for hours daily : ) Mum used to say I'd read toilet paper if it was printed- it wasn't, so i had to contend myself with the back and sides of the cereal packets. I've always Needed to read and we had few books when i was a child hence my penchant for reading anything including adverts then... I review mainly contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance books though dystopian and urban fantasy also appeal. I'm currently rated around the 300 mark on amazon.co.uk for my reviews. I try to keep them structured and to say what I do and don't like about a book so other readers can use my review as a guide to whether they may enjoy the book.
