Pretty beaded dresses.

Kayamiya Women’s Inspired 20s Beaded Maxi, Long Gatsby ,Flapper, Prom Dress, Gown

Product Details

This is a really gorgeous dressand as with all I’ve had from this company its beautifully finished, and well constructed throughout, beaded hems and edges, neat stitching, clever hidden side zip .

Comes in just the one colour and in four sizes S,M,L,XL. I have it in XL.
The measurements I’ve shown were on the fabric unstretched, and as its very stretchy it will go considerably larger. I’m a size 16 and this dress is perfect and would fit someone larger because its actually roomy for once 🙂
It is very long, I’,m 5ft 6 in and it still hangs on ground so you need to wear heels if you’re my size or less!

Its actually a perfect desiugn for ladies like me who are a little larger…the V neck is flattering, the shoulders are wide and balance the design, spaghetti straps are fine on slim ladies but not so good on us larger ones IMO. Its a sleeveless design with the arms stopping at point of shoulder.
The drop waist effect is great for disguising any err…less firm pasts 🙂 and great for when its a dinner evening!

Its got a very vintage feel which appeals to me, the drop waist very 1920’s and the way the skirt bells out from the dropped waist makes it flow really well and look very elegant.
Its decorated with  thousands of tiny bugle beads and sequins in black and gold in swirly flowing curves, giving it a really organic feel.

The decorated top layer covers a soft plain black under layer, which comes from neck right down to the hem. As the top layer is a mesh holding the decorations that’s needed, unless you’re looking for the Cher effect, in which case you could cut it out!!

Its polyester, which is fine to machine wash, but all those beads won’t like the battering so do as it says and carefully hand wash. Don’t wring it out but blot carefully in a towel before drying flat somewhere.

Its a perfect dress for cocktail evenings and formal winter parties.

Stars: Five, gorgeous well made dress, perfect for parties.

This is a really gorgeous dress, beautifully finished, and well constructed throughout, beaded hems and edges, neat stitching, clever hidden side zip . Comes in black only and in four sizes, S, M, L, XL.

I have size M and the hip measures around 32-34 inches, the bust area the same, and looking online that’s about right for an 8, possibly a 10, so its not a UK M but an asian one…watch out for that.
The fabric does stretch a little, though doesn’t look so good when its pulled out of course, and the sleek shift design really means you need a good fit.
If in doubt about sizing ask the sellers – I’ve found most are really helpful. Saves disappointment and returning items.

Its a fitted shift style so to look best you really need to ensure a good fit. The shoulders are quite wide and the neck line a simple shallow curve, the simplicity of the cut lets the flamboyance of the sequins, beading and fringe really show up well, without looking too garish. Too much is not a good thing and something needs to be toned down, and here its the cut and style of the garement thats been simplified.

Its decorated with  thousands of tiny bugle beads and sequins in black and silver in a lovely geometric design, very popular in 1920’s.
The decorated top layer covers a soft plain black under layer, which comes from neck right down to the start of the fringing. As the top layer is a mesh holding the decorations that’s needed, unless you’re looking for the Cher effect, in which case you could cut it out!!
Length is good, very cocktail vintage. Its got a very vintage feel which appeals to me, and yet the styling is so classic its suits any formal occasion.
I love the Art Deco geometric style of the beading, and the deep simple fring hem. the sliver sequins are very vibrant and eye catching so its not a dress for wallflwoers, no hiding in a corner in this dress!

Its polyester, which is fine to machine wash, but all those beads won’t like the battering so do as it says and carefully hand wash. Don’t wring it out but blot carefully in a towel before drying flat somewhere.

Its a perfect dress for cocktail evenings and winter parties.

Stars: Five, a pretty dress but not for shrinking violets – though maybe it gives them confidence, who knows? .

Its got a very vintage feel which appeals to me, and yet the styling is so classic its suits any formal occasion.
Its a fitted shift style, really easy to wear and that lets the beauty of the decorations show through. The hidden side zip makes it easy to get on and off.
The shoulders are quite wide and the neck line a sort of squared off sweetheart design, the simplicity of the cut lets the flamboyance of the sequins, beading and the sheer mesh top and back stand out.
Too much is not a good thing and something needs to be toned down, and here its the cut and style of the garment that’s been simplified.
Note that sheer back – it means going braless or choosing one carefully, sort that out before you need to wear the dress. Don’t get caught out on the night!
The neckline, shoulders and hem are scalloped and edged in silver thread, and look very pretty.
Length is good, very cocktail vintage, but its also fun enough for contemporary wear, to go clubbing as well as wear on formal occasions.

Its decorated with  thousands of tiny bugle beads and sequins in black and silver, arranged in a very curving Art Deco style and has silver embroidery on body of dress as well as all edges.
The decorated top layer covers a soft plain black under layer, which comes from bustline at front, and waist at the back, right down to the hem.

Its a perfect dress for cocktail evenings and winter parties.

Stars: Five, a pretty dress , fairly subtle from the front but revelaing all the back through the mesh.

About jeanniezelos

I'm an avid reader, love my kindle and I have my head in a novel for hours daily : ) Mum used to say I'd read toilet paper if it was printed- it wasn't, so i had to contend myself with the back and sides of the cereal packets. I've always Needed to read and we had few books when i was a child hence my penchant for reading anything including adverts then... I review mainly contemporary, erotic and paranormal romance books though dystopian and urban fantasy also appeal. I'm currently rated around the 300 mark on amazon.co.uk for my reviews. I try to keep them structured and to say what I do and don't like about a book so other readers can use my review as a guide to whether they may enjoy the book.
