As always with gaming products review and testing done by grandson no 1, a 16 yr old keen gamer. I just edit/translate his words a bit 😉 him being dyslexic.

The packaging was good and protective, as it was enclosed in a rigid plastic box and then positioned in place to protect it with foam which is quite soft.

I opened it up and looked at it and thought that it  looks nice for a wireless mouse, but kept looking between the mouse and the box because the sides on the mouse were not red. It was not until I put batteries in in it that I realised that it lights up. I found that cool for a mouse that I would use on my laptop.

It feels long lasting and hardwearing as the plastic that you have your palm on is smooth and secure, and yet the sides that are made of plastic feel solid, and  that helps position thumb on the mouse. It is slightly strange for me as all the mice I’ve had that were similar size to this one all felt like cheap plastic, and felt like I was holding a big egg in a way as I would squeeze it and I could hear the plastic move and they all felt cheap. This one is perfect in that it feels strong and not as though it will fall apart if gripped too tightly.

The mouse is quite responsive whilst using the school pc’s and my laptop, which is nice because I can get lazy and use my laptop on my bed and use the mouse on my duvet and still get a fairly good response from it. One thing that I would like to mention about this mouse is that the nano USB receiver (wireless receiver) fits nicely into the bottom of the mouse and there’s also an option to turn the leds on and off as well. My computer had no problems finding the drivers and installing them by itself (gotta love windows) so it was ready to use in a matter of mins.

The games I used with this mouse were Team Fortress 2 and Dota 2 on my laptop and it worked well on both of them. I did not have any problems on any of them apart from I changed the DPI on my mouse during Dota 2 and I was like “wait, what I cant click anything” cos I changed the dpi to a point where I could not accurately position my mouse, but I  then used the manual to find out how to change it back. So that was all good and I found the manual helpful, I also used it to see how much the DPI change/the DPI specifications.
